Jennifer Jordan, Ph.D., LPC, LPCS, NCC, CCTP, IFS Level 1

We all have parts of ourselves that we want to deny, run away from, or just ignore. But those are the parts that we need to get to know so we can grow and move on from our past hurts and traumas.

Dr. Jordan offers a nonjudgmental space to explore the parts of yourself that you are struggling with and often hate. She will help you understand why you do the things you do ​and help unburden those pasts wounds so you can begin to do the things you want and value.

You did it! I'm proud of you! You made the first step, and I am so happy you're here! Life really can be challenging. Family struggles, financial challenges, relationship issues, emotional abandonment, loss of self, job stressors, anxiety, and depression are all just a few things that you could be experiencing at the same time. If you feel that you are not in a good place in any area of your life, therapy is the way to go. You can begin doing the work of discovering the root causes of unhealthy life patterns and behaviors while finding ways to heal and find peace. You can start to breathe again!!

Using Person-Centered and Narrative Therapy techniques, I can help you unplug and unpack some of the emotional, mental, and psychological distress that you may be experiencing. I have much experience working with minority populations, and I am an advocate for men getting the help that they need through therapy.

I believe that wellness is a lifelong journey, and with the right resources and support, you can and will achieve it. You have the opportunity to participate in a liberating experience where you can be your authentic and individual self in a welcoming and safe space. Move forward with walking into your better. You have a purpose, and the world is waiting.

Tim does telehealth only and does not accept insurance, however, he will provide you with a superbill to give to your insurance for reimbursement.

What is getting in the way of achieving your “ideal self” or your “ideal life”?  Perhaps you have problems at work or home, or you have relationships you would like to improve.  Maybe you are feeling depleted, and need to start putting some of your needs first without feeling immense guilt. You know if you make some changes, your energy and focus will improve, you will be more present and intentional, and you will reach higher levels.

Children and teenagers are confronted with life’s ups and downs just like the adults around them. In therapy, I help my clients to create a safe space to deal with the challenges that come with growing up. I use play therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), walk-and-talk therapy, and other creative approaches to work with children and adolescents as they navigate their struggles. 


I have worked with many children and teenagers on the autism spectrum. Additionally, I aim to create a therapeutic space that is LGBTQ+ affirming.

During times of uncertainty, big life changes, or daily life stressors often comes with overwhelming feelings and emotions. In counseling topics such as these can be worked through together as we grow and build a safe, confidential relationship. I dedicate my time with those who experience anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, bullying, sexuality, and identity. The age groups I work with are children, adolescents, and young adults. It is my goal to create a calming safe space to allow my clients to express themselves in a genuine manner and to help process emotions that they may have a hard time understanding.
